Job Description

Summary

As an Account Manager - Outside Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and ensuring growth by regularly visiting clients and executing brand strategies in line with EssilorLuxottica's standards. You will be responsible for maintaining strong professional relationships and representing the company's lens products to enhance brand value.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for lens products in terms of volume, revenue, and penetration rates.
  • Develop and follow an effective visit plan to meet key clients within a 4 to 12-week cycle.
  • Ensure regular client visits to represent lenses, support sales, and enhance brand value.
  • Accurately document visits and interactions in internal CRM systems.
  • Utilize reporting tools, technical training, samples, and digital platforms to improve client engagement and commercial performance.
  • Manage distribution within the territory according to brand guidelines and market objectives.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships at all levels of the client organization.
  • Provide regular training on products, lens technology, and brand messaging.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competition, and technological innovations.
  • Develop and retain existing clientele while identifying new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to implement integrated programs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and professional events.
  • Develop strategic business plans using internal tools and programs.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Participate in required training, team meetings, calls, and field events.
  • Organize or participate in clinic events to boost lens engagement and sales.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience with demonstrated results.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written).
  • Strong sales, interpersonal, training, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Frequent travel, including overnight stays (up to 100%).
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
  • Authorization to work in Canada.
  • University degree is an asset.
