Job Description

Summary

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial accounts in accordance with international accounting principles and company guidelines. You will provide technical support to business requests and execute internal controls, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end activities accurately and timely, including recording journal entries and performing variance analysis.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processing and enhance controls.
  • Maintain proper controls and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts and analyze balances for accuracy.
  • Provide timely support to internal customers and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure results align with expectations during the month-end close process.
  • Execute internal controls and support internal and external auditors.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a desire to become proficient in finance software including ERPS (SAP/HFM).
  • Ability to adapt to shifting and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to communicate with diverse individuals.
