Job Description

Summary

The Supply Chain Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to leadership and helps maintain smooth distribution center operations. Responsibilities include data reporting, office and supply management, and serving as a backup Warehouse Associate when needed. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities

  • Support leadership with administrative tasks, memos, documentation, and shift start-up/closing duties
  • Use multiple computer applications to capture, report, and share departmental performance data
  • Collect and review PEP sheets, submit to managers, and manage PO Workspace submissions for trouble freight
  • Conduct daily safety observations, submit repair requests, and escalate unresolved issues
  • Review scheduling and assignment boards, communicate with internal customers and vendors, and research operational discrepancies
  • Perform Warehouse Associate duties as needed to maintain workflow and meet SLAs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to read, write, and present information in English and perform basic math operations
  • Ability to perform Warehouse Associate functions and work overtime during busy periods
