Job Description

Summary

The Allocator manages product allocation and retail analysis to support divisional financial objectives. This role executes initial allocations and replenishment while providing data analysis and insights to Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze business reviews, store and product performance, and inventory reports.
  • Execute initial product distributions and in-season replenishment to stores.
  • Develop allocation strategies that support sales, gross margin, inventory turns, and product availability.
  • Monitor inventory, sales, sell-through, weeks of supply, and distribution forecasts.
  • Partner with Buying, Planning, Control Tower, store teams, and other functions on allocation strategies and execution.
  • Communicate inventory status and recommendations, and visit stores to assess performance and availability.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in retail math and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn technical applications quickly.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to build productive cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience with allocation and retail reporting systems is preferred but not required.
