Alterationist

As an Alterationist at Holt Renfrew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction by fitting, pinning, marking, and altering garments to meet client specifications. You will work in a fashion-driven environment that values luxury and quality.

• Measure clients to determine the scope of work.
• Pin and mark garments according to fabric type to ensure correct fit.
• Complete alterations to the highest technical standard.
• Deliver completed garments on or before the promised date.
• Inform clients of alteration charges as per the current price list.
• Confirm and communicate the promise date for completed alterations.
• Partner with Sales Associates to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide expert guidance on garment cut and fit.
• Complete designated sections of alterations tag.
• Follow Holt Renfrew's price list.
• Inform department manager of supply needs or equipment repairs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly department.
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.

• Technical training in tailoring or seamstress work, or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in altering luxury fabrics.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and/or French.
