The Alterations Associate provides professional alterations and tailoring services to customers in-store, ensuring garments fit correctly and meet quality standards. This full-time role supports the store alterations operation, handles fittings, and communicates with customers about alteration options and timelines. The associate operates sewing and pressing equipment and maintains accurate work order records.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations and tailoring on a variety of garments to achieve proper fit and finish
• Conduct fittings and consult with customers on alteration options, timelines, and pricing
• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and manage alteration turnaround times
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with sales and store teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of tailoring or alterations experience
• Proficiency with sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of garment construction
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
