Analyst International Trade Compliance

The Customs Classification Analyst at Ralph Lauren will play a crucial role in determining and assigning Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes for a variety of products, including apparel, footwear, and home lifestyle items. As a member of the Trade Compliance Team, you will provide technical support for import and export clearance, supporting the company's global trade compliance initiatives.

• Analyze and document product specifications, technical files, and product samples to determine HTS classification using applicable rules and regulations.
• Provide direction on Partner Government Agency requirements and preferential trade program qualifications.
• Develop and maintain a global database of HTS classifications with thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Production, and Sourcing teams to determine appropriate tariff rates.
• Contribute to training and reference materials supporting business and compliance requirements.
• Monitor changes in regulations impacting HTS classification and trade compliance laws.
• Manage a diverse workload with changing priorities.
• Share knowledge with key business partners and teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration and International Trade is a plus.
• 3+ years of direct experience in HTS Classification, including textiles and apparel.
• Ability to work with Product Development Team to interpret HTS based on product evaluation.
• Self-starter with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
