Architectural Design Associate

Summary

The Architectural Design Associate supports the in-house architectural design team with the development and construction of new retail stores and the upkeep of existing locations. The role contributes across design phases and helps coordinate project communications, presentations, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design development from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with project consultants and vendors, and support maintenance and logistics scheduling.
• Build and maintain 3D models, draft architectural drawings, and prepare design presentations.
• Maintain the sample and material library and support project filing, drawing sets, and printing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture, bachelor's degree in Architecture, or credentials in Interior Architecture or Design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite; V-Ray experience is a plus.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; retail experience is a plus.
• Strong design sensibility, technical and research skills, communication, organization, and knowledge of construction and architectural or interior details.
