Architectural Design Associate

As an Architectural Design Associate at RH, you will collaborate with the Gallery Development team and internal partners through the design and construction phases for new Design Galleries, remodels, and fixture updates. You will contribute to design standards and provide leadership support for new initiatives and special projects.

• Support multiple new galleries from concept design through construction and opening.
• Draft and manipulate architectural plans and details.
• Produce C level design presentations.
• Coordinate designs with outsourced architects for construction drawings.
• Support fixture design, development, and sourcing.
• Maintain architectural standards and review submittals and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with Visual, Creative, and Operations teams to determine requirements.
• Communicate critical issues and provide recommended actions.

• BA/BS Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 2 to 5 years of design experience.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with professional judgment.
• Proficient in project schedule management and plan coordination.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Retail design experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup.
• Ability to travel periodically.
