Architecture & Design Manager, RLA+D Studio

Summary

The Architecture & Design Manager designs and develops Ralph Lauren shop-in-shops across North America, ensuring projects reflect current design standards and deliver an elevated brand experience. The role manages projects from ideation through completion in collaboration with internal partners, external consultants, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design shop-in-shops for new projects, renovations, and restorations.
• Coordinate project requirements with internal teams, consultants, and suppliers to meet timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
• Produce schematic design drawings and design development packages, and review construction and millwork shop drawings.
• Collaborate on fixture designs and prepare accurate bid documents and templates.
• Follow established AutoCAD, drafting, project management, and directory standards.

Requirements

• Education in architecture or a similar field.
• Experience in retail design, similar commercial projects, or high-end residential design.
• Understanding of all phases of an architectural project and strong knowledge of millwork standards, details, and construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office including Excel, Microsoft Project, and SketchUp.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
