Architecture and Design Manager

The Architecture and Design Manager at Ralph Lauren will work directly with senior team members to develop design concepts to completion for freestanding custom and bespoke retail stores. This role involves managing new buildouts, renovations, and retrofits of existing stores, as well as fixtures and smaller component designs. The Manager will typically handle one to three projects or design exercises at a time, requiring a strong background in high-end retail or residential design.

• Manage global retail design projects from design through completion.
• Design shops that elevate the Ralph Lauren brands and enhance the customer experience.
• Produce schematic design and design development drawing packages for factory outlet stores.
• Develop and manage budgets and schedules, coordinating all project phases with suppliers and partners.
• Review and approve project-specific millwork shop drawings.
• Work with Construction Managers to secure project approvals and coordinate implementation.
• Create and issue bidding documents and purchase orders to suppliers.
• Coordinate project requirements with internal and external partners.
• Adhere to established AutoCAD drafting, project management, and directory standards.

• Experience in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Experience in high-end retail design or similar level hospitality projects.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of millwork standards and construction.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat X Pro, BIM360, and Smartsheet.
• Project Management experience, including budgets, schedules, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
