Area Facilities Manager - Washington Square

Summary

The Area Facilities Manager oversees facility operations across multiple locations, leading technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe, well maintained, and customer focused facilities. This role develops and implements preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures while building relationships with site leadership and property managers to meet business needs and drive operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance of technicians vendors and suppliers across multiple locations to perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility systems
• Establish and promote a safety first culture including training recognition and safe work practices
• Ensure completion of planned monthly quarterly semi annual and annual preventive maintenance for critical and non critical equipment
• Act as point of contact with site occupants property management and landlords to coordinate facility activities
• Uphold contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery of goods and services
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance schedules
• Respond to emergency calls and support incident resolution
• Support business objectives by helping drive operational goals such as store sales volume and fulfillment timeliness

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Facilities Manager or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems HVAC vertical transportation security and fire alarm systems
• Experience using CMMS systems with planning scheduling and reporting capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers peers and senior leadership
• Experience managing remote teams and third party contracted services
• Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolution
• Proficiency in MS Office with demonstrated Excel and Outlook skills
