Summary
Lead facilities operations across multiple locations ensuring safe, clean, and well maintained environments. Serve as a hands on manager overseeing technicians, vendors, and subcontractors while building relationships with site leadership and business partners to deliver consistent facility management services and support operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safety first culture and drive safe work practices across the portfolio
- Manage performance of technicians vendors and suppliers across multiple locations
- Coordinate with site leads property management and landlords to schedule and execute FM activities
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and service delivery expectations from subcontractors
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance schedules
- Oversee completion of planned monthly quarterly and annual preventive maintenance on critical equipment
- Respond to emergency calls and provide operational leadership during incidents
- Support business objectives including store sales volume and fulfilment delivery timeliness
- Maintain oversight of MEP systems including HVAC vertical transportation security and fire alarm systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education preferred
- Proven knowledge of building mechanical and electrical MEP systems
- Experience using CMMS systems with planning scheduling and reporting abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and third party contractors
- Strong analytical problem solving and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience building strong relationships with customers peers and senior leadership
- Six Sigma Lean or similar operational excellence certification is a plus
