Summary
The Area Sales and Education Executive provides sales and training strategy and support across an assigned territory with emphasis on Sephora to achieve sales goals by building relationships, conducting trainings, and offering sales support. The role involves planning events, managing budgets for freelancers and travel, and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Achieve retail sales goals in assigned stores through strategic call cycle and event planning
- Conduct in-store training for selling specialists and store personnel for new launches and core categories
- Manage freelance and travel budgets to support territory activities
- Plan and execute in-store events aligned with brand initiatives
- Develop strong relationships with store sales associates and leadership
- Represent the brand and apply sales techniques within Sephora locations
- Ensure counters and sales areas meet merchandising and visual standards
- Negotiate for improved space and placement within Sephora stores
- Create store-specific action plans to drive sales performance
Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience; 3-5 years in sales or beauty industry experience required
- Experience in an in-store retail environment; Sephora experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Event planning and execution experience
- Flexible working hours and ability to travel within territory; must own a vehicle
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work remotely when required without home office responsibilities
- Mandarin or Cantonese speaking preferred
