Artisan

Summary

The Artisan repairs leather goods, accessories, and luggage in a production/client care environment, performing sewing, painting, cutting and manual tool operation to meet quality specifications. This role works 2nd shift and requires willingness to learn, good organization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Repair products according to company quality specifications and guidelines
• Perform sewing, painting, and cutting tasks as necessary
• Operate manual tools and equipment used in the repair process
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Follow regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Use industrial sewing machines, pneumatic machines, drills, and hot glue guns
• Handle trimming machines, soldering irons, scissors, and rulers safely

Requirements

• Basic math skills for measuring
• Manual dexterity and ability to grasp and manipulate small objects
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs with or without accommodation
• Willingness to learn new skills; comprehensive training provided
• Prior sewing or leather knowledge is a plus but not required
