Assembler Level 1

Summary

Assemble precious metal jewelry pieces by hand and machine to meet Tiffany and Co production and quality standards at Level 1. Work safely and maintain productivity while supporting continuous improvement and cross department collaboration in a high volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble sterling silver, platinum, and gold jewelry including pearl assembly and bead stringing
• Operate equipment such as Link O Matics, saws, presses, tack welders, and chain linking machines
Perform laser welding, oven solder prep, glue dispensing, and deburring tasks
• Verify counts on work orders and compliance to blueprints and BOMs
• Use barcode scanning into JDE to track efficiency
• Perform first piece and in process inspections for dimensional and aesthetic quality
• Participate in 5S activities and maintain a clean safe work area
• Propose and support continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read write and communicate in English
• Basic math and computer skills
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast paced high volume environment
• Willingness to work overtime and weekend overtime as needed
• GIA Certification
