Job Description

Summary

As an Asset Protection Agent at Park Meadows, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our customers, employees, and merchandise. You will work closely with the Emergency Response Team to handle emergencies and protect company assets by mitigating shrinkage risks and resolving theft incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve theft by conducting quality apprehensions and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Identify theft trends using technology and surveillance tactics.
  • Implement action plans to drive a shrinkage reduction culture.
  • Support internal theft investigations through various methods.
  • Monitor theft activity using video systems and support investigations.
  • Maintain safety and security by responding to and reporting incidents.
  • Lead security audits and participate in store meetings.
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and participate in training.
  • Prepare and submit reports for high-profile incidents and investigations.
  • Testify in court for criminal and civil cases.
  • Build partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and law enforcement.
Requirements
  • Ability to make decisions and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Calm demeanor when handling safety issues.
  • Accountability, initiative, and ownership.
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs.
  • Meet state and local licensing requirements.
  • Experience in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures preferred.
