Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, merchandise, and store spaces safe. The role reduces shrink through theft prevention and investigation, supports inventory accuracy, and responds to security and emergency incidents.

Responsibilities

• Investigate theft and suspicious activity using surveillance, reporting tools, and RFID data.
• Conduct apprehensions in accordance with company policies and guidance.
• Support shrink reduction, merchandise protection, inventory accuracy, and security audits.
• Respond to and report security, safety, and emergency incidents; participate in Emergency Response Team training.
• Prepare incident and investigation reports, testify in court when summoned, and partner with store leaders, retailers, and law enforcement.

Requirements

• Use sound judgment and maintain accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Remain calm when addressing safety issues and aggressive behavior.
• Work a flexible schedule and meet applicable state and local licensing requirements.
• Experience in investigations, asset protection, or security procedures is preferred.
