Asset Protection Agent - Galleria At Roseville

Summary

The Asset Protection Agent is responsible for protecting customers, team members, merchandise, and physical assets by preventing and investigating theft, mitigating shrinkage risks, and supporting store safety. The role partners with store leadership, Emergency Response Team members, and local law enforcement to respond to incidents and maintain a secure environment. Agents use surveillance, reporting tools, and RFID data to identify trends and support investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality apprehensions and resolve theft incidents while following policy and AP leadership guidance.
• Monitor video and surveillance systems and leverage RFID and reporting tools to identify theft trends and support investigations.
• Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and collaborating with AP leadership and investigation teams.
• Lead shrinkage reduction efforts, security audits, and merchandise protection standards within the store.
• Respond to, escalate, and report store security, safety, and emergency incidents; serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and participate in training.
• Prepare incident and investigation reports and testify in court when required; build partnerships with store leaders and local law enforcement.

• Experience in investigative, asset protection, or security procedures preferred.
