Asset Protection Agent - Galleria At Roseville

Summary

The Asset Protection Agent is responsible for protecting customers, employees, merchandise, and physical spaces by preventing and investigating theft and safety incidents. This role partners with store leadership, Emergency Response Team members, and law enforcement to respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and support shrinkage reduction initiatives. The Agent uses surveillance systems, RFID data, and reporting tools to identify trends and support loss prevention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct apprehensions and resolve theft incidents in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Monitor video systems and leverage surveillance tactics to identify theft activity and support investigations.
• Use RFID and reporting tools to investigate merchandise movement and inventory inaccuracies.
• Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and partnering with AP leadership and investigation teams.
• Respond to and report store security incidents and medical emergencies to maintain safety.
• Lead security audits and shrinkage awareness efforts and training within the store.
• Serve as a member of the store Emergency Response Team and participate in emergency response training including First Aid.
• Prepare and submit complete reports for incidents, recoveries, investigations, and policy violations.
• Testify in court when summoned for criminal or civil cases.
