Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, and merchandise safe while reducing shrinkage at the store. The role supports emergency response, identifies and investigates theft, and works with store teams and local partners to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct theft apprehensions and investigations in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Use reporting, surveillance, video systems, and RFID data to identify theft trends and merchandise inaccuracies.
• Implement merchandise protection standards and support shrink reduction, safety audits, and awareness training.
• Respond to and report security, safety, and emergency incidents, and participate in Emergency Response Team training.
• Prepare incident and investigation reports, testify in court when summoned, and partner with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and law enforcement.
