Responsibilities- Resolve theft incidents using good judgment and conduct quality apprehensions in high shrinkage areas.
- Identify theft trends through technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics.
- Implement action plans and merchandise protection standards to drive a shrinkage reduction culture.
- Support internal theft investigations through exception-based reporting and surveillance systems.
- Use video systems to monitor theft activity and support investigations.
- Maintain safety and security by responding to and reporting all store security and emergency incidents.
- Lead security audits and participate in store meetings and shrinkage awareness efforts.
- Serve as a member of the store Emergency Response Team and participate in emergency response training.
- Prepare and submit reports for high-profile incidents and investigations.
- Testify in court for criminal and/or civil cases as needed.
- Build partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.
Requirements- Experience in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures preferred.
- Ability to make decisions and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle safety issues calmly.
- Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs.
- Meet state and local licensing requirements.
