Asset Protection Agent

Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, and store assets safe while reducing shrinkage and supporting inventory accuracy. This role responds to security and emergency incidents, investigates theft, and partners with store teams and local law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft and conduct quality apprehensions in accordance with policy and guidance.
• Identify theft trends using reporting, surveillance, video systems, and RFID data.
• Support internal and external theft investigations, gather evidence, and prepare incident reports.
• Promote shrinkage reduction, merchandise protection, safety awareness, and emergency preparedness.
• Respond to store security and emergency incidents and participate in the Emergency Response Team.
• Build partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.
