SummaryThe Supply Chain Asset Protection Agent is responsible for supporting loss prevention, safety, and security initiatives to safeguard company assets, including property, building, fixtures, equipment, merchandise, supplies, money, and employees. This role involves keeping the building and employees safe, as well as identifying and investigating potential loss situations.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with building personnel professionally and respond urgently to incidents related to loss prevention, safety, and security.
- Monitor identification badges for entry/exit to the building for all individuals.
- Scan associates, visitors, and vendors using metal detectors and perform visual searches of carry-in items.
- Ensure security screening procedures are followed and escalate sensitive situations as needed.
- Partner in operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink and conduct investigations.
- Maintain documentation related to loss prevention and safety issues.
- Audit physical security infrastructure and ensure systems are functional.
- Perform daily warehouse walks to ensure physical security standards are met.
- Review camera footage for investigative purposes and respond to building alarms.
- Support building manager with opening and closing the building.
- Maintain confidentiality in security and personnel matters.
- Work weekends and/or overnight shifts as necessary.
- Perform special projects as directed by the Asset Protection Manager.
Requirements- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing service position, ideally in loss prevention, security, or risk management.
- Supply Chain Facility experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills with associates at various levels.
- Calm demeanor when dealing with safety and security issues.
- Proven accountability, initiative, and ownership in previous roles.
