Summary
The Supply Chain Asset Protection Agent is responsible for supporting loss prevention safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property equipment merchandise and employees. This role involves monitoring access conducting screenings and searches investigating potential loss incidents and collaborating with loss prevention management and law enforcement as needed. The position may require weekend and overnight shifts and participation in special projects.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and respond to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
- Monitor identification badges for entry and exit of employees visitors vendors and contractors
- Conduct screenings using walk through and hand held metal detectors and perform visual searches of carry in items
- Review camera footage and respond to building alarms taking appropriate action
- Initiate and conduct investigations into shrinkage and loss and partner with investigators and managers for resolution
- Audit physical security infrastructure and perform daily interior and exterior facility walks documenting findings
- Complete incident and accident documentation and forward for follow up investigations
- Support building opening and closing and maintain confidentiality on security and personnel matters
- Perform special projects as directed by the Asset Protection Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma GED or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in a customer facing service position ideally in loss prevention security or risk management
- Supply chain facility experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact at various levels
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to safety and security issues
- Proven accountability initiative and ownership in prior roles
- Willingness to work weekends and overnight shifts as necessary
