Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, merchandise, and store spaces safe. The role reduces shrinkage, supports inventory accuracy, and responds to security and emergency incidents.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve theft, identify trends, and support internal investigations using reporting, surveillance, and video systems.
• Implement merchandise protection standards and shrinkage reduction plans, and use RFID data to investigate merchandise movement and inventory inaccuracies.
• Respond to and report security, safety, and emergency incidents; participate in Emergency Response Team training and security audits.
• Prepare incident and investigation reports, testify in court when summoned, and partner with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and law enforcement.
