Asset Protection Assistant Manager - Long Island

Summary

Responsible for supporting the Loss Prevention team to prevent external and internal theft and fraud, protect people products and profits, and support store operations through training auditing and investigative activities. Works on-site reporting to the Senior Retail Performance and Store Operations Manager and promotes a safe customer and associate environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting training and development of loss prevention staff
• Manage loss prevention training standards
• Review shortage results and develop shortage control and profit protection programs
• Coordinate and conduct loss prevention audit program
• Coordinate associate education and awareness programs to promote profit protection
• Enforce Merchandise Protection Standards and inspect key areas per audit program
• Manage alarm system contact list and testing
• Assist with investigative and policy violation interviews
• Maintain crisis management and emergency preparedness programs

Requirements

• Experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
• Customer focused mindset and strong communication skills
• Basic proficiency with computer software
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond to changing directions and unexpected situations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
• Ability to promote a safe environment for customers and associates
