Summary
The Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property equipment merchandise money and employees. The role greets and screens visitors monitors alarms and assists with delivery logistics while maintaining confidentiality and a calm demeanor during safety incidents.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and guests in a professional manner
- Serve as liaison between arriving guests and warehouse staff including screening and appointment confirmation
- Log and validate information for trucks entering or leaving the building and communicate with receiving
- Stage or assign delivery doors as instructed
- Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
- Answer and transfer incoming building calls to appropriate extensions
- Operate walk-through and hand-held metal detectors as needed
- Respond with urgency to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise accountability and initiative
