Summary

The Asset Protection Coordinator supports safety, security, and asset protection initiatives to safeguard company assets, property, employees, and merchandise. This role monitors loss prevention systems, enforces safety procedures, conducts investigations, and collaborates with store management and law enforcement to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Assist with alarm response and package checks.
• Investigate internal theft and gather data for incident reports.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies and manage inventory loss prevention.
• Complete incident and investigation paperwork and security metric reports.
• Train store teams on asset protection practices and prevention techniques.
• Partner with management on action plans and liaise with local law enforcement.
• Perform audits of operational, inventory, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Preferred knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize.
• Calm and professional demeanor when handling safety issues and aggressive individuals.
• High level of accountability, initiative, and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
