The Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property fixtures equipment merchandise supplies money and employees. The role greets and interacts with building personnel screens guests and coordinates logistics for deliveries while monitoring alarms and handling communications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with building personnel and guests in a professional manner
• Respond with urgency to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
• Serve as a liaison between arriving guests and warehouse staff and confirm appointments
• Log information for trucks entering or leaving the building and validate inbound deliveries
• Communicate with receiving department and assign doors as instructed
• Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
• Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate extensions
• Operate electronic walk through and hand held metal detectors as needed
