Summary
Support loss prevention safety and security initiatives at the distribution center to safeguard property merchandise equipment and people. Serve as point of contact for building personnel visitors and deliveries while maintaining professional communication and urgent response to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and visitors maintaining a professional demeanor
- Screen and confirm appointments and serve as liaison between guests and warehouse staff
- Log truck and delivery information and communicate with receiving to assign doors
- Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
- Answer and transfer incoming building calls to appropriate extensions
- Operate electronic walk through and hand held metal detectors as needed
- Respond to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security with urgency
- Maintain confidentiality and take ownership of assigned security tasks
Requirements
- High quality organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize work and remain calm when handling safety issues
- Experience dealing with aggressive individuals and deescalation skills
