Asset Protection Coordinator

Summary

The Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention safety and security initiatives at the distribution center to safeguard property, merchandise and employees. This role greets visitors screens deliveries monitors alarms handles building communications and operates detection equipment while maintaining confidentiality and a calm demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with building personnel and visitors professionally
• Screen guests confirm appointments and serve as liaison to warehouse staff
• Log trucks entering and leaving validating delivery information and communicating with receiving
• Monitor building and fire alarms to ensure proper response or dispatch
• Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
• Operate electronic walk through and hand held metal detectors as needed
• Respond urgently to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
• Maintain confidentiality and ownership of security processes
