Summary
The Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention safety and security initiatives to safeguard property merchandise equipment money and employees. This role greets and screens building personnel and visitors monitors alarms and coordinates inbound deliveries while operating detection equipment and answering building communications.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and visitors in a professional manner
- Serve as a liaison between guests and warehouse staff including screening and confirming appointments
- Log and validate information on trucks entering or leaving the building and coordinate with receiving
- Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatching
- Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
- Operate walk through and hand held metal detectors as needed
- Respond with urgency to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
- Maintain confidentiality and ownership of security procedures
Requirements
