Asset Protection Coordinator - Portland Distribution Center

Summary

Support loss prevention safety and security initiatives at the distribution center to safeguard property, merchandise, equipment, money and employees. Serve as a point of contact for building personnel and visitors, monitor access and alarms, and respond to incidents with urgency and professionalism. Maintain detailed logs and coordinate with receiving and warehouse staff to ensure secure operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with building personnel and guests in a professional manner
• Screen and confirm appointments and serve as a liaison between visitors and warehouse staff
• Log truck and delivery information and communicate with receiving to assign doors
• Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
• Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
• Operate electronic walk-through and hand-held metal detectors as needed
• Respond urgently to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
• Maintain confidentiality and ownership of security-related information
