Responsibilities- Partner with asset protection peers and solution providers on assigned projects.
- Lead asset protection, safety, and preparedness initiatives through training and awareness.
- Manage access control and visitor management, including access-level reports.
- Perform periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy in accordance with procedures.
- Implement policies and procedures in partnership with asset protection management.
- Investigate incidents of theft, injury, and unlawful acts as directed.
- Coordinate the Emergency Access program.
- Submit required reports and audits to the asset protection director in a timely manner.
- Maintain scorecards, audits, and request needed supplies for the department.
- Support emergency response procedures and crisis management plans.
- Oversee the maintenance and use of security systems, including cameras and alarms.
- Monitor and enforce asset protection policies to minimize losses.
- Stand, walk, and move for extended periods in various environments.
Requirements- Must have or be able to obtain a NYS Security License.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior loss prevention or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint, PKMS, PDA, report writing, and RF usage.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in fire protection systems coverage.
- Ability to collect and report facts without bias.
- Ability to control and diffuse potentially violent situations.
- Effective and timely communication skills.
- Proven ability to organize multiple project schedules and meet shifting priorities.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
