Summary

The Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention, safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property, fixtures, equipment, merchandise, and employees. The role greets and screens visitors, monitors alarms, logs deliveries, and responds to incidents with urgency and professionalism. The coordinator serves as a liaison between guests and warehouse staff and operates security screening equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with building personnel and visitors in a professional manner
• Screen and confirm appointments and serve as liaison to warehouse staff
• Log and validate information for trucks entering and leaving the building
• Communicate delivery information to receiving and assign doors as instructed
• Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
• Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
• Operate electronic walk-through and hand-held metal detectors as needed
