Asset Protection Detective - Soho

Summary

Responsible for preventing loss and protecting assets at a retail location in Soho through observation, investigation, and enforcement of store policies while maintaining customer service standards. Works collaboratively with store leadership and local authorities to ensure a safe shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor and back of house for suspicious activity
• Conduct investigations into theft and internal loss incidents
• Detain and interview suspects in accordance with company policy and local law
• Work with law enforcement to report and prosecute criminal activity
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain investigation records
• Collaborate with store management to identify loss prevention opportunities
• Provide visible presence to deter theft and improve customer safety

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in asset protection or loss prevention preferred
• Strong observational and investigative skills
• Knowledge of local laws and apprehension procedures
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to work varied retail hours including nights and weekends
