Asset Protection Investigator - Michigan Avenue

Summary

As an Asset Protection Investigator you will work on-site at the assigned store to prevent losses from internal and external theft and fraud, support store safety, and report to the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager. You will conduct monitoring, investigations, and reporting to protect people, products, and profits while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance to identify theft and fraud indicators
• Conduct internal and external investigations and document incidents
• Prepare reports on theft incidents, recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
• Reduce and control inventory loss through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

Requirements

• Experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
• Customer focused mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond to changing directions and unexpected situations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
