Asset Protection Investigator

Summary

The Asset Protection Investigator works on-site at a distribution center to prevent losses from theft and fraud. The role reports to the Asset Protection Manager and supports the safety of customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and conduct surveillance to identify internal and external theft or fraud.
• Conduct investigations and document asset protection incidents.
• Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accidents, and audits.
• Support inventory loss reduction through audits and training.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in operational programs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in loss prevention or asset protection.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong verbal and writing skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management skills.
• Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and work a flexible schedule.
