Asset Protection Investigator

Summary

The Asset Protection Investigator works on-site as part of the Asset Protection team to prevent external and internal theft and fraud. The role supports safety and loss prevention activities and reports to the Asset Protection Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general safety of customers and employees and assist with emergency situations.
• Monitor and conduct surveillance to identify indicators of theft and fraud.
• Conduct internal and external investigations and document incidents.
• Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accidents, and audits.
• Reduce inventory loss through audits and training, and support store operations programs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Loss Prevention or Asset Protection experience.
• Customer-focused mindset and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management skills.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing or unexpected situations and work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
