Asset Protection Investigator

Summary

The Asset Protection Investigator supports loss prevention efforts at an assigned store. The role helps protect customers, employees, merchandise, and store profits by identifying and addressing theft, fraud, and safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general safety for customers, employees, and the store, and assist with emergency situations.
• Monitor and conduct surveillance to identify potential internal or external theft and fraud.
• Conduct investigations and document incidents, merchandise recoveries, accidents, and audits.
• Help reduce inventory loss through audits, training, and participation in store operations programs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Loss Prevention or Asset Protection experience.
• Customer-focused mindset and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing or unexpected situations.
