Asset Protection Investigator

As an Asset Protection Investigator at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the store's assets and ensuring a secure shopping environment. You will work under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations to monitor shortage results, control investigations, and implement safety and awareness programs.

• Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection policies and procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by monitoring reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years Asset Protection experience, preferably in a large volume retail environment.
• Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction.
• Ability to quickly learn Saks Fifth Avenue standards, procedures, and IT applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Wicklander-Zulawski certification a plus.
