Responsibilities- Resolve theft and conduct quality apprehensions in high shrinkage areas while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Identify theft trends using technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics.
- Implement action plans and merchandise protection standards to reduce shrinkage.
- Support internal theft investigations through exception-based reporting and surveillance systems.
- Monitor theft activity using video systems and support investigations.
- Leverage RFID data to aid item level investigations with merchandise inaccuracies.
- Maintain safety and security by responding to and reporting all store security and emergency incidents.
- Lead security audits and participate in store meetings and shrinkage awareness efforts.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and participate in emergency response training.
- Prepare and submit reports for high-profile incidents and investigations.
- Testify in court for criminal and/or civil cases.
- Build partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.
