Asset Protection Manager

Summary

The Asset Protection Manager leads shortage-control strategy and inventory performance for an assigned store. The role protects company assets, maintains a safe selling environment, and partners with store leadership and investigators to improve results.

Responsibilities

• Identify theft exposures and implement shortage-reduction strategies.
• Plan and oversee audits, physical inventory, reconciliation, and corrective actions.
• Maintain physical security standards and camera systems, and ensure investigations follow applicable laws.
• Lead, coach, and develop Asset Protection Investigators.
• Deliver training, safety sessions, and shortage-awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail Asset Protection experience, preferably in a high-volume luxury or complex retail environment.
• Experience leading teams and achieving operational and developmental goals.
• Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with retail security systems, reporting platforms, and productivity software.
• College degree preferred.
