Summary
The Asset Protection Manager establishes and maintains the Asset Protection Program for assigned stores, traveling as needed within the area. This role partners with store management, regional teams, law enforcement and corporate stakeholders to protect property, merchandise, cash, and associates through investigations, audits and training.
Responsibilities
- Identify investigate and resolve theft and fraud using surveillance and audits
- Conduct operational audits and manage the Asset Protection Audit program
- Provide Asset Protection orientation awareness and training to store teams
- Perform daily perimeter walks to identify theft physical security and safety opportunities
- Respond to alarm calls review reports and investigate as required
- Manage inventory processes investigate discrepancies and partner with Inventory Control
- Recruit train schedule and supervise AP staff where applicable
- Develop and maintain partnerships with store management district and regional leaders and external security
- Support event preparation including permits guard coverage and escorts when applicable
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years retail Asset Protection experience
- Experience in multi store environments managing volume complexity and regional differences
- Proven investigative skills with measurable case productivity
- Ability to use analytic data to drive performance and risk management
- Experience executing comprehensive audit assessment and training programs
- Wicklander Zulawski training or commensurate interview experience
- CFI eligible and LPQ eligible in relevant markets when applicable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong time management multi tasking and communication skills
