Asset Protection Manager

Summary

The Asset Protection Manager leads shortage prevention and asset protection strategy for the store. This role promotes a safe selling environment through investigations, audits, physical security, compliance, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce internal and external theft and improve inventory shortage performance.
• Lead audits, physical inventory, reconciliation, and corrective action planning with store leadership.
• Maintain physical security standards and oversee camera systems.
• Ensure investigations and apprehensions follow company guidelines and applicable laws.
• Lead, coach, and develop Asset Protection Investigators, including training and performance feedback.
• Deliver store-wide safety, shortage awareness, and asset protection training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail Asset Protection experience, preferably in a high-volume or complex environment.
• Experience leading teams and working with store leadership.
• Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with retail security systems, reporting platforms, and productivity software.
• College degree preferred.
