Asset Protection Practitioner - University Village

Summary

Protect the people and assets of the store while supporting shortage reduction, safety, and compliance. Use investigative skills, technology, and analytics to help maintain a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Support asset protection initiatives and shortage reduction plans.
• Build partnerships with store colleagues, leadership, law enforcement, mall management, and legal counsel.
• Facilitate training on shortage prevention, theft mitigation, safety, and operational compliance.
• Use reporting and data to support investigations and improve shortage, safety, and audit metrics.
• Help ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of alarms, EAS, CCTV, and lock-and-key systems.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexible schedule availability and ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
