Summary

Provide a visible security presence on the sales floor to deter theft, protect inventory, and ensure a safe environment for customers and employees. Engage with customers professionally while monitoring store activity and responding to safety or emergency situations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a professional and timely manner while maintaining a visible presence on the floor
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities and respond to suspicious or unsafe situations
• Assess and assist in emergency situations and coordinate with store leadership as appropriate
• Reduce and control inventory loss through audits, training, and education initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality regarding investigations and security matters

Requirements

• Ability to maintain an active, visible floor presence as a deterrent
• Remain calm and professional when addressing safety issues and interacting with aggressive individuals
• Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and ownership of responsibilities
• Meet any local licensing or certification requirements for security personnel
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
