Asset Protection Specialist - Beverly Hills Flagship

Summary

The Asset Protection Specialist at the Beverly Hills boutique is responsible for enforcing and protecting company assets, including merchandise, cash, equipment, personnel, and customers. Reporting to the Asset Protection Manager, this role conducts audits, investigations, incident reporting and collaborates with local management to maintain a secure retail environment. The specialist also manages outsourced guards and ensures associate compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide post coverage and stock security within the boutique
• Educate and assess associate compliance with asset protection policies
• Report violations and incidents and conduct follow-up investigations
• Conduct audits, inspections and maintain accurate records and documentation
• Manage and coordinate outsourced security guards
• Perform routine facility inspections and communicate safety hazards to management
• Control access of associates and visitors to ensure physical security

Requirements

• 1-3 years of loss prevention or retail experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-hour Pre-Assignment and 16-hour OTJ certificates; security license required in NYC only
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and operate required equipment
• Adaptability, credibility, trustworthiness and results-driven attitude
