Asset Protection Specialist - Maison Madison

Summary

The Asset Protection Specialist at the Maison Madison flagship is responsible for protecting company assets, employees, premises, and clients by enforcing policy, conducting audits and inspections, and partnering with store and regional teams. This role supports daily loss prevention operations, incident reporting, and coordination with law enforcement when necessary. The Specialist will help maintain physical security and compliance through routine reviews, documentation, and training support.

Responsibilities

• Provide post coverage and stock security on the sales floor and stock areas.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and safety checks to maintain physical security.
• Perform audits, maintain AP documentation, and review safe logs and cegid reports (negatives, voids, returns).
• Report incidents and thefts to the Asset Protection Manager and liaise with local law enforcement.
• Manage and oversee outsourced guards and supervise off-site public and employee sales.
• Ensure associate compliance with AP policies and conduct training touch-bases with APM and APAs.
• Support floor management in the absence of the Asset Protection Manager and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of asset protection or retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8 hr Pre-Assignment and 16 hr OTJ certificates; Security License required in NYC.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and operate necessary equipment.
• Attention to detail, credibility, adaptability, and a service-oriented, results-driven mindset.
